For the kido’s

I have always dreamed of illustrating a children’s book, something about them is so inspiring. For some illustration inspiration (that’s fun to say right), look at what I found for you all today.

Ingela P Arrhenius is a Sweden-based Illustrator. Her style is childlike, and reminds me of the 50s and 60s.

Fashion inspired watercolors

Kareem Iliya is an illustrator that has appeared in numerous publications around the world. He has illustrated several book covers, appeared in New York Times, Vogue, and The New Yorker  just to name a few. Kareem Iliya clients also include some of the most recognized name brands, Louis Vuitton, Tiffany & Co., Neiman Marcus, SAKS Fifth Avenue, Nike and many many more. Maybe you will recognize some of his illustrations (I recognized the Nike ads).

If you can’t wait to see more of KAREEM ILIYA, check out his portfolio. I only showed a few images here, but believe me, I definitely could have added several more to the list images! Hope you enjoyed these as much as I have.

Tad Carpenter for Zynga

Tad Carpenter is an illustrator & designer with a very impressive resumé. He has been featured in several publications including Communication Arts, Grain Edit & Print. This is his poster design for Zynga for their quarterly meetings. He created all of the type with traditional letterpress wood type to obtain the circus poster feel. Check it out & let me know what you think.

Enchanting watercolors

Samantha Hahn, an artist with quite an impressive client list, is a watercolor genius. Her illustrations are eye-catching, and colorful. She has a big portfolio on her website, and it was kind of difficult to choose which ones to showcase here, because I like so much of her work.

If you want to see more of Samantha Hahn’s work, check out her website. I think my favorite might “Summer is over- Daily Drawing”, but then again I love the gumball machine too. What’s your favorite?
