The challenge of this student project was to take an already existing product (I picked house paint out of the bag) and bring back some excitement into its purpose. Since paint is so noncommittal, I decided to use couples to portray that paint doesn’t have to be permanent either. The photographs of the couples faces convey that shocking look when you walk into a room you just painted to find it dried bright yellow instead of mustard.
